Time and Skill makes you a good volunteer; A heart willing to help makes you a GREAT volunteer - proud to be a CAC volunteer!

We take volunteers very seriously. Volunteers will need to attend an interview to help them understand CAC, their roles at CAC and etc. The interview also helps CAC to see the volunteers' ideas, thoughts and perspectives. An induction will be given to every volunteer before starting actual work. Like our customers, CAC also make sure that volunteers are fully aware of their rights and responsibilities. If you wish to obtain more information about CAC volunteer policies and procedures, please contact us on (08) 9328 3988.

Become a CAC Volunteer

You don't have to be an expert to become a CAC volunteer. We value all the volunteers as a great asset to our organization. No matter your availability is a few hours or every day, we treasure your efforts and time the same.

Our volunteers come from a range of trades and professions. Many volunteers are retirees, some are college and university students. Many volunteers come from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and some can speak a second, or even a third language.
  • Individual
Virtually anyone can become a CAC volunteer although for some duties, you will need to meet some specific requirements. For example, if you volunteer as a driver you will need to have a valid Australia license. If you volunteer as a community event or outing helper, you will need to have a certain level of fitness.
  • Corporate
CAC also call upon the corporate sector for specific community events. This allows various companies to participate in activities that help to improve team building, staff leadership and management skills, and to attract quality staff who care about other people and the communities in which they work.
