CWCC's dragon dance team burst onto the scene, their colourful ensemble a vibrant testament to the dragon's symbol of power, wisdom, and luck. It was more than a performance; it was a wish for prosperity and good fortune to all.
Amidst the festivities, CWCC's CEO, Mrs Theresa Kwok, unveiled exciting new ventures: the 'Good Times in Perth' online radio and a home exercise video series. Imagine, virtual broadcasters Ah Chung and Ah Wah, pioneering AI in aged care across Western Australia, offering stories about the community in Cantonese, Mandarin, and Vietnamese, while encouraging seniors to stay active right at home.
Then came "Chung Wah's Got Talent," a spectacle where our seniors lit up the stage with their singing and dancing prowess. But wait, the show-stopping lion dance stole the spotlight, its annual fundraiser bringing together the community with every drum beat. The tradition of 'plucking the greens' became a generous act for Guide Dogs WA through the spirited collection of red envelopes.
Mrs Kwok's rally for continuous support echoed, aiming to knit a tighter community fabric with every act of kindness and dedication. The luncheon reached its height with a heartwarming group photo, capturing the joyous faces of guests and nonagenarian seniors alike.
